The fortified
coastal city of Essaouira makes for a nice break
from the assails of Marrakech. A typically relaxed
costal town with an increasing number of interesting
hotels and house rentals, Essaouira is the
quintessential 60's hippy town smartened up for
today's savvy travellers.
If you're looking
for a spot of activity, try kite or windsurfing.
Alternatively, go horse riding on the beach or try
to get a place on one of the teams of local kids
playing football!
