Luxury Travel to Mandalay
Based at the Mandalay Hill resort and spa, the city
made famous by Rudyard Kipling (and consequently
Franks Sinatra)'s poem reveals a city, which, to
some, remains more quintessentially Burmese than its
capital city of Yangon.
In Mandalay, a city stripped of tourist trappings
and therefore traditional 'tourist' things to do and
places to explore, simply spend days interacting
with the locals, many of whom, in
characterisitically Burmese fashion, would be happy
to engage you in a conversation.
From Mandalay, take a flight to the other cities in
Burma or opt for the Orient Express cruise, which
takes you along the Ayeyarwady River to the
archaeological city of Bagan.
