Overview
Few hotels can
look back on more than a century of legendary
service to so many distinguished guests and fewer
still have preserved their past with a more loving
attention to detail.
Accommodation
Courtyard Suites
The Courtyard
Suites are among situated close to the lush flora of
the hotel, lending these suites an unmatched
ambience of tranquility
Palm Court Suites
The Palm Court
Suites borders one side of the Hotel’s main
building. Simplicity and serenity is implicit in the
Palm Court, with ample walkways of crushed pebbles
and rows of tall palm trees lining the sides of the
garden. The Palm Court's large expanse of greenery
sets the sublime mood for all of the Hotel's
facilities and its use is restricted to the Hotel
residents.
Personality Suites
12 of the 103
suites at Raffles Hotel have been named after
personalities who were associated with the Hotel in
its early heyday. These suites are distinguished by
the special memorabilia displayed within each one,
acquired when the Hotel was closed for restoration
from March 1989 to September 1991.
Ranging from
Charlie Chaplin (whose stay is also commemorated at
the Hanoi Sofitel Metropole), Ava Gardner, Noel
Coward( isn't there a suite named after him in
Bangkok's Oriental) to Pablo Neruda, the range of
personalities who have graced the Raffles Hotel
makes this hotel the most pedigreed and interesting
in town.

the Main Building are known as the Grand Hotel
Suites. They are distinguished by their premier
location in the Hotel, their spaciousness and
elegant appointments, and the quality of the
antiques and artwork displayed.

Presidential Suites. They are distinguished by their
