The décor in this villa blends the traditional and the artistically modern, with low, rattan-infused tables and woven chairs, plump cushions liberally sprinkled in relaxation corners, open and elevated patios and bedroom, and everything in shades of natural warm browns and beiges, red and gold.

The living area is spacious and cooled by ceiling fans and natural sea breezes, and has a quality sound system, a TV, DVD equipment, Wi-Fi broadband, and even a mini-refrigerator for a drink-on-the-go, perhaps after a refreshing swim in the 16-meter by 4-meter, 1.4-meter deep private pool lined with green Java stone, uniquely suspended 8 meters above the ground outside. Set beside the pool is a thatched bale, where guests can relax on a comfortably-padded base and enjoy beautiful views of the sunset. The pool deck is furnished with lounge chairs where one can lean back and languidly soak up the warm rays of the sun, but be spared a burn by the thoughtfully-placed sun umbrellas. Next to the pool also is a bar with thatched roof and ten high chairs, another pleasant place from which to admire the sun in the late afternoon. The garden boasts fragrant frangipani, flowering plants, and bougainvillea, and a frieze carved with various characters of The Ramayana.

The 13-meter by 6-meter living and dining pavilion is the center of this large villa, accessed through a lantern-lit pathway lined with graceful palm trees, and then a stepping stone bridge. With a shingle roof unobstructed by pillars and lined with bamboo, the area almost looks as though it is floating. Open on all four sides but able to be closed with sliding glass doors up in front, the pavilion is set among a lotus pond and charming, bubbly ornamental urns. With a modern dining table that can comfortably seat fourteen, the pavilion is also furnished with deeply-cushioned sofas, sideboards, ceiling fans, coffee tables, lounge chairs, impressively-wrought iron chandeliers, and even a candelabra.

Below the garden and the pool is a game and television room, decorated in warm colors consistent with the rest of the villa, within which are various entertainment options, such as a library of over 150 books and DVDs, surround-sound speakers, a pool table, a daybed, dartboard, refrigerator, and—immediately outside the room—a special sanded area for playing pétanque. A short way away is the wine cellar.

Between the studio and the spa is the fitness room, equipped with a treadmill, an exercise-bike, a step-machine, a rowing machine, light weights and wall mirrors.

The five bedrooms are air-conditioned and decorated in the same warm tones as the rest of the villa. A ceiling fan is provided for ventilation for those cooler nights, and each bedroom is entered through either double Balinese doors, an external flight of Palimanan stone steps (for the bedroom on the upper floor), or sliding glass doors. With luxuriously-canopied king-sized beds, these will be most idyllic retreats at the end of a wonderful day.

The en-suite bathrooms, too, are inviting to behold. Extremely spacious, the bathrooms have been designed in the typical romantic Bali style, with glass bricks to let in the natural light, glassless windows, sculpted terrazzo washbasins, toilets subtly tucked away in alcoves, cream-white Palimanan walls, and wooden pillars. Rain-showers can also be found in all the bathrooms, which are ventilated well with ceiling fans, and blinds can be pulled down for absolute privacy. A touch of the vernacular can be found in the ornaments placed tastefully about, such as small gold Buddha statues and other traditional Balinese statues.
