Overview

STRAITS COLLECTION in true BON TON Style, is a total eclectic mix of Retail, Restaurants and Residences, over two separate rows of heritage Chinese Shop Houses.

The Straits Collection is managed by Brand Bon Ton. Bon Ton owns and operates two heritage resorts in Langkawi; Bon Ton Resort and Temple Tree. Both have won international awards.

Accommodation

One row of 5 houses, built in 1927, is behind the Goddess of Mercy temple in Stewart Lane. The other 4 houses are located at the start of the heritage walk in Armenian Street.

The 5 minute walk between the two follows Harmony Street where one can find a Chinese Temple, Indian Temple, Islamic Mosque & Christian Church.

Dining

A fun simple Café with an all day & night menu. The concept is to blend the old style Penang coffees with the latest Italian styles. Asian movies will be shown late evening.

Recreation

The Reading Room is housed in what was once, one of the original Penang coffee roasters. All the equipment is still there. The space acts as an open to the public library with tea & coffee available from the adjacent Kopi Cine

The retail - A summery bright mix of fashion accessories, lifestyle gifts,
Malaysian batik and stationery.

Items are sourced from all over Asia and are a little different from what's normally available.
