Starting his art career as a painter with diligent involvement in student activism in the Philippines, his advocacy heavily informed his early works. He used visual art as a vehicle to emphasize his concerns such as dissatisfaction against corrupt bureaucracy, student repression and institution. He founded “Anak Sining” (children of the arts), an organization that solidified musicians and artists while promoting social awareness and student rights. He is also a published photographer both in the Philippines and in San Diego and has worked with various publications such as Cosmopolitan, Entrepreneur, Mens Health, Wedding Planner, San Diego Prime, Star news, East living, etc.. He now travels the world as a travel documentary and portrait photographer for various personal projects. He considers Manuel Ocampo, Banksy, Santiago Bose, Steve Mc curry, Daido Moriyama and Antoine D’agata as his major influences.
