The infrastructure of the house suitably lends itself to entertaining (although guests planning on having parties are required to make prior arrangements and adhere to rules of the neighbourhood - frequently residential- that the property is located in), with a sunken lounge located adjacent to the dining pavilion, with a black terrazzo outdoor buffet table.

Water is a constant theme in this thoroughly modern interpretation of Balinese living. A 23 metre swimming pool spans the length of the garden and features both options of some serious laps with its deeper end as well as for lazy pool lounging through the availability of stepped levels that allow for guests to lounge in the water without actually having to swim.

The four poolside cabanas, another modern take on yet another Balinese element (the bale), is lined with a mattress and protected from the sun by a canopy. Guests retire to equally fashionable rooms- accessible by floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a monochromatic palette of creams, whites and greys, punctuated by the blue frosted glass of the bathrooms. Bathrooms are luxuriously spacious, with a large terrazzo soaking tub, a material that has become a mainstay in an increasing number of design-led hotels and an indoor rainshower.
